Biography

Samantha Simpson is an artist whose work represents love for the complexities of life. There’s a certain beauty in life that becomes mundane to some. She aims to capture that beauty with photography. Her process tends to be very relaxed as she gets a loose idea of what she wants to shoot and then goes out and sees what inspires her within that idea. She often finds herself fascinated by nature and people; there’s a magic present in both of them. What she enjoys capturing about nature is its effortless beauty, and how it’s simply just existing in itself in such a heavenly manner. What she likes about people is their complexity, individuality and beauty as a result of both. People are so fascinating and all so unique, and she enjoys capturing that in her photographs. Her work is for anybody and everybody and her hope is that when they see it, they feel as enchanted as she did taking the photograph.
